What Must I do to be Saved?

Are you in a saved condition? About 8 out of every 10 people think they are saved. In Matt. 7:21-23 some religious people were lost because they did not do the will of the Father (God), in heaven. Don't you want to be absolutely sure that you have obeyed the commandments of God? One's soul's salvation is not something to be uncertain about.

What does the Bible say about the conditions of salvation?

First, I must believe - Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith, it is impossible to please Him (God)." Secondly, one must repent of his sins - Luke 13:3 - "Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

Next one must confess Christ - Acts 8:37 - "And he answered and said, 'I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God' ''. Everyone must be baptized - Jesus said in Mark 16:16 - "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

Then one must live right - Titus 2:12 - "We should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world". "Those who do not know God and have not obeyed the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord." (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9) Make your salvation certain. Your soul is more valuable than the world (Mark 8:36, 37)
